How long is a mastectomy fitting?
Plan on 60 minutes. We’ll talk about what you need, compare suitable garments or breast forms, and make time for your questions.
Do you have a certified mastectomy fitter?
Yes. Belle Mode offers certified mastectomy fitting in Fairfax, with Anita Care, AnaOno, and Amoena among our collections.
When can I be fitted after surgery?
Healing is individual. Ask your surgeon or care team when you are ready and whether any garment restrictions apply. Once you have their guidance, reserve your fitting using the calendar below.
Can I compare forms under my own clothing?
Yes. Bring a top you like wearing so you can see the shape and fit with something familiar. The American Cancer Society also suggests trying different forms and checking how they feel when you move.
Do you bill insurance?
No. Belle Mode does not work with insurance or bill insurance providers. Purchases are paid directly to the boutique.
Can you help years after treatment?
Yes. You are welcome to revisit your fit, compare breast forms, or explore different everyday and swim options long after treatment.
